Start Here: The Best of the Podcast So Far
A curated collection of the most loved, most lasting episodes. The ones that still speak, still guide, and still hold weight.

My podcasting journey began in 2018 under the name Intentional Documentary, a space for photographers, storytellers, moment-seekers, and meaning-makers who wanted more than just pretty pictures. We valued real life over posed portraits, and the honest, uniquely meaningful stories behind the images.
But if you’re not into photography, hear me out.
It may have started as a podcast for documentary family photographers, but the stories we explored became doorways into the nuanced, complex, beautiful territory of being human: how we remember, connect, and create meaning. Bonus if there was a photo involved. ;)
The show evolved into a home for deeper reflection: on memory, loss, identity, creativity, and the stories we carry.
Through our conversations, we learned that what we chose to document — the moments we called our most meaningful — were never just about the pictures themselves. They revealed what mattered underneath: our values, our longings, and the ways we made sense of our lives. In a way, we were always talking about why the tiny stories mattered in the first place.
Photography was just our medium to see and hold onto the stories.
Nevertheless, it’s been nearly four years since the last episode aired! I had just renamed the podcast Dangerously Good Stories, thinking I was starting a new podcasting chapter… but life had other plans.
Today, the show is a body of work that’s quietly reached nearly 40,000 listeners (IAB stats), all without ad spend, algorithms, or loud campaigns. Just story, substance, and slow growth for a super niche audience. Now, as I prepare to relaunch the podcast with new episodes in late September 2025, I wanted to look back before we move forward. I revisited every episode, updated titles and descriptions, and culled what no longer aligned.
The full archive lives on both Spotify and Apple Podcasts (or wherever you get your podcasts), if you'd prefer to explore by platform.

What’s ahead for Dangerously Good Stories?
The next season of Dangerously Good Stories will:
lean more deeply into themes of meaning-making, difference, nuance, and neurodivergence,
explore what it means to rebuild after collapse — when life turns up a hard stop: trauma, loss, chronic health conditions, and more,
dive into growing values-aligned professional and business lives, and
use story work as a tool for reclaiming self, identity, voice, and living a life that feels more right for you.
New episodes will be released on September 23rd, 2025.
In the meantime, these episodes below are a lovely, timeless foundation.
