Are stories just something you share, or can they be something more? This piece explores the difference between storytelling and Story Work—how sharing connects us with others, while working with your stories helps you connect with yourself. Discover how both can transform your life in powerful ways.
Story work is so similar to what I teach and write about in MindShifting, changing from story -- script -- action to story -- reflection -- response. https://a.co/d/dQRtPym
Story work and MindShifting definitely seem to share some overlap in how they emphasize awareness and intentionality. I love the shift you describe from story → script → action to story → reflection → response.
For me, story work was birthed out of grief, particularly when I recognized meaningful stories that had ended and felt blindsided. I imagine there’s a story behind your approach as well. :)
